I would like to share with you some information which I have learned from the article about “A framework for personal knowledge management tools”.
The point of this article is to explore personal tools that can accelerate human processes of individual knowledge and also being independent from technical and financial elements. We can see how differences between organizing information and organizing ideas there is more examples in the article.
If you read the article you know that in this article is 7 ideas, such as accessing, evaluating, organizing, analyzing, conveying, collaborating and securing. Personal Knowledge management was developed by Prof. Paul Dorsey. We can find many examples which were mentioned in the article like skills, processes etc. Moreover, I think if you add ideas to each of the following seven categories, the framework become very useful in the future.
This article is about two pages with nice table so it is not very long. I would encourage you to read this text because it can be useful for you.

Hi Daniel. I wanted to read the article you posted, but it would be more convenient, if you put also URL. I think that this article is on Gartner's website, but still, for me it would be more convenient that I simply 'click' on the URL.
Hi Lukasz. I used PDF file to write this article. It is posted on COLweb under the name "Days 2 and 3 materials.zip". I don't know that this article is on Gartner's website.
