I would like to tell you about the smallest RFID tags. The size of this passive device is only 0.4 x 0.4 millimeters. So soon we can expect them in many places. Mostly I like the idea to put one under the skin on finger. This could be great solution for double authorization, or triple authorization.1st finger print, 2nd RFID, 3rd PIN. I wish to make shopping without money or cards. No more problems with change :) But potential is much bigger than we can imagine nowadays, for example no keys to car, home, work. many places can recognize you and customize (light, temperature etc.).
Unfortunately there are at least two disadvantages. First one; you become traceable everywhere. The second problem is that there will be possibility to make a copy of your tag.Perhaps there will be protection similar to comp126 in SIM cards, but still it is only a matter of time unless someone will break it.

Hey there.
Nice post. What I would like to talk about is advantages and disadvantages of this technology.
In your post is written that
"This could be great solution for double authorization, or triple authorization.1st finger print, 2nd RFID, 3rd PIN."
...maybe if we use it for those purpose only. And only, if provide - how you said - best protection for those data.
There are some areas where RFID can be usefull and I agree with that - we can talk about it later.
Generally, I'm agains of implementation this technology in people live, I mean VERIchip, RFIDchip in credit cards (American express), RFID passports
First of all,RFID is a technology by which we have already lose the war on our freedom ,please look on the link listed below - the history of RFID is in Polish but, please focus on the movies - RFIDchip in credit cards (American express) - no security for it.It's easy to steal someones money take a look on the whole article:

Moreover, security :
"Security professionals need to realize that RFID tags are dumb devices. They listen, and they respond. Currently, they don't care who sends the signal. Anything your companies' transceiver can detect, the bad guy's transceiver can detect. So don't be lulled into a false sense of security."
Taken from old byt good article written by Scott Granneman specialist in security from Washington University in St. Louis
Finally,I'm worry about campaign - advertising free RFID in USA for people.Reasons are irrelevant for me - maybe we can say - great for people with the Alzheimer, maybe - helping in the accident - OK ,how ever you advertise it - I don't want it ,I don't want to be tracked by it and loose freedom ,share personal data ,lose money - unless it's well sercured maybe.
At the end of my post - short movie - link below - I'm not going to talk about political situation - watch all movie - It's about RFID ...

what you think about ?
One more think,
According to the article I have found - MiFare Classic RFID system is blown by the Polish Teacher of University College of London - Nicolas Tadeusz Courtois.
What does it mean ?
- "Using only about 50 bits of data, the researchers obtained the full 48-bit key in 200 seconds on one 1.66 GHz Centrino CPU."
- The scandal - there is a billion RFID cards with chip like this used in the world, not only to control access to the London's Subway and buses, but the military buildings, embassies, ministries or well-known companies.
