Key Issues for High-Performance Workplace Scope and Point of View, 2008

In order to create a high-performance workplace, companies need to divide processes to ones that has to be done by people and ones that can be automated. If a process can be automated a right technological tool needs to be chosen an implemented. On the other hand, if a process has to be done by people, a firm has to analyze it first. If the process can be optimized, it should be done first. Then, a firm, has to try to find single tasks within a process that can be enhanced by technology and try to put right tools into practice.
